Processing Times and Delivery

We hand engrave each item to order, and processing times may vary according to workload, but in general we try to complete orders in 3-5 days. Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are our busiest times of the year, and processing will inevitably take longer during these peak periods. Please contact us if you are worried about delivery times and we will advise you. We will always try to start work on your order as quickly as possible, and will contact you if there are any unforeseen reasons for a delay. If you need to alter any aspect of your order, please contact us as soon as possible, as once work has begun we cannot cancel or refund your order.


This applies to all orders being sent to a UK address – we are currently using Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm which is a tracked service – this is in order to hopefully avoid the disruption caused by any Royal Mail industrial action.  If you would prefer us to use normal 2nd class post then please get in touch and we will refund you £5

For orders being sent to a UK address, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm (Free of Charge), which according to Royal Mail should arrive by 1pm the next day after we post it. This is a temporary measure to see us through the Royal Mail strikes over Christmas 2022.

PLEASE NOTE – We have currently suspended shipping outside the UK due to delays, cost  and unreliability caused by COVID19 – we will look at starting this again at some point in the future.  Shipping times to countries outside the UK can vary – we use Royal Mail International Tracked shipping which is a tracked service.  We will email you with the tracking number when we ship your parcel. In our experience we have found the following to be a rough estimate of overseas shipping times – however we cannot guarantee these as items may get held up in overseas customs, which is beyond our control. Royal Mail International Tracked service will not guarantee delivery overseas by a specific date.  We do not offer an expedited shipping service to overseas customers.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Cove Calligraphy Ltd. are not responsible for delays due to customs.
